Largest PADI Freediver Course in Zurich

Last Saturday, TSK Zurich, in collaboration with Apnea Center, organized the most extensive PADI freediving course ever held in Zurich. Against the backdrop of splendid summer weather, a group of 13 individuals was expertly guided through two open water sessions by four of our certified PADI instructors. Participants successfully honed their essential open water skills, including Constant Weight (CWT) dives to a minimum depth of -10 meters, along with various rescue and buddy techniques. Emphasizing the paramount importance of safety in freediving, none of our students undertook dives without a lanyard. Despite the water temperature being just 16 degrees, the new Mares rental wetsuits from TSK Zurich provided warmth throughout both sessions. As a culmination, some of our students accomplished CWT and FIM (Free Immersion) dives down to -16 meters and opted to join us again the following day for our inaugural 2023 Season Opening.
