2023 Freedive Season Opening in Zurich

This past Sunday, over 30 freedivers, spanning various skill levels, convened to inaugurate the summer freediving season at Zurich Lake in Switzerland. Despite the surface water temperature being a brisk 16 degrees (and a chilly 7 degrees at -30m), the splendid and sunny weather, coupled with the use of 5mm wetsuits, ensured that nobody experienced discomfort from the cold. Following stretching exercises, two invigorating water sessions, and a lighthearted competition, the day concluded with a convivial BBQ and drinks, fostering connections among both new acquaintances and longtime friends.
